It is the sequel to PES 6.\n\nPro Evolution Soccer 2008 was released for Windows, Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360 and Mobile. Its Japanese equivalent, Winning Eleven, was released earlier in the year and gave an insight into the game.
